ANA VULETIĆ was born in 1983 in Zemun, Serbia. She is mostly grown
up and responsible, but also forever utopian. From an early age, she
NURTURED HER LOVE FOR WRITING and creating her own worlds and on that
path, she has unconditional support from her mother. She believes that the
WRITTEN WORD opens windows to new worlds, as well as imagination.
Even though she has a degree in Economics, Ana spent most of her working
career so far in the IT sector.
She’s constantly trying to prove that small things can CHANGE THE WORLD.
When she is not writing books, Ana breaks down walls between people
somewhere and draws new maps.
Even before she became a mother, she considered that children and
especially inclusion are important, as is the voluntary work that includes
these sensitive groups.
Ana met DRAGAN and moved from Serbia to warm and sunny Malta, where
their first daughter LENA was born. After Malta, they moved to icy Finland,
where their second daughter TARA came into the world.
Ana loves to play with her daughters.
She loves to come up with various projects with them – from making whole
worlds out of paper, to searching for treasure in the beautiful nature of
Finland.
It was completely natural for her to come up with original bedtime stories
for her daughters.
With the support of dear people, primarily her husband, Ana decided to
revive her dreams. She wrote down one of her bedtime stories into these
lines and published “Edelweiss”.
She found INSPIRATION for this book in the group of strong mothers she is
surrounded by, her children and her love of carrying. Ana is also a certified
babywearing consultant and the founder of “Lena’s Traveling carriers”,
which aims to support all parents.
“EDELWEISS” UNITES ALL THE VALUES THAT ANA STRIVES TO TEACH HER
CHILDREN, AND MAYBE SOMEONE ELSE.
